87 GT speed density soon to be mass air converted. Will I run into problems after the conversion by installing an e303 into an otherwise stock motor?

Thanks

You shouldn't run into any problems but you will not pick up the power potential of the cam because of the restrictive TB and intake.

Always check the lift to ensure that your not going to hit. Chances are you won't i'm running a pretty high lift cam and i don't hit..

cool thanx

Anyone know where a good place to get a mass air conversion kit short of spending 400.00 for a new one? There's not too many donor cars in my area and as far as getting a part here and a part there, Im not sure of what all to buy for the project. I know I need the mass air meter, computer, wiring harness what else?

Thanks

you will need the pcm, main engine wiring harness, mass air flow sensor and tubing from the air box to the maf and from the maf to the tb. it is best to use the a9l for your five speed. i wish i would have known. just sold a setup on ebay about 2 weeks ago.

You'll need to upgrade your valvesprings, an E303 will only get you major valve float otherwise.
