Are VT stage 1s similar to Comp Cam 268H? Do they even make the 268H for 1999+ GTs?

they do but it's 268AH or something like that for the P.I mustangs i.e 99+

Interesting, I was just looking at comps web page http://www.compcams.com/Technical/CurrentCatalog/HTML/66-67.asp
and only see 262,270,278 for the 1999+ mustangs.

The 268H is an NPI cam, the closest thing to it is the 270AH. The comparable cam to the VT Stg I is the Comp 262AH( PI ).

Seems to be a large difference between VT stage one and Comp Cams 262 in terms of the rpm range. 1400-5400rpm for Comp 262 vs. 2500-6000 Vt Stage one. So based on that I would assume you would get better low-end torque with Comp Cams. Does anyone have a sound clip of stage ones or comp 262s?
