I was thinking about switching my E-cam and going with the TFS 1. Or if I have enough money left over from building my 331 a custom grind. My question is if I switch cams will I have to get different pushrods? Has anyone passed an emissions test with the TFS 1 cam? Will there be a noticeable difference in power with the TFS 1 over the E-cam?

Well you will definitely have to check pushrod lenght. Most likely you will have to change pushrods. look to manton pushrods website for good ones.

TFS 1 will pass emissions I believe. With a proper tune it will definitely pass e-testing.

He has stud mount rockers. I don't see why he would need to change the pushrod length.

Either way with a 331 you should try to get a cam with a little more juice than those two. You should still be able to pass emissions. I hope my 347 does, lol.

I passed emissions with the trickflow stage 1 cam (in england)

if you already have the e-cam I don't think you'll gain that much but i've been wrong before! If I were you i would give ed curtis a call or shoot him an email.
