More of a reason to stay EFI, ifnd some used injectors/maf, and tune it.

How much money do you really think you're gonna save from running a new fuel system tank to motor/carb compared to just dropping in new injectors/maf and getting it tuned?

Can u tune a carb yourself?

Yes my dad and step dad can both tune a carb.

Seeing a tune is 600, plus 300 for new injectors and another 300 for MAF,

Going to sell some of the stuff off my car that went for EFI and i should be good.

So 1200 just for those 3 things. I need a new intake because i sold mine, so i won't figure in the intake. So a diff type of pump an few odds and ends still cheaper then 1200.

Everyone has there own preference....but u can probably find 42s with a matching meter for less than $300 combined. Let alone $300 each new.

But some guys prefer to only buy new.

Good luck!

Bad experience with buying used injectors and mass air,

I don't mind buying used stuff. I just bought a set of used/new AFR 185, used in they were opened but never started on the car. Well thats what they said.
