i have a 93 gt lookin for some input for a cam.. recent mods... 3.73s, gt-40 heads, intakes, 70mm tb, 73mm maf, 24# injectors, fms1.6rr's.. thanks

Put in and E or B cam and you should pull around 275-285 at the wheels

whats the differnence between b and e where most torque is?

Basicaly, I would suggest the e over the b though as the b will make your car feel real sluggish down low but if your into saving $ I would have to suggest the Steeda cams as they actually cheaper & better, I'd say get the Steeda #19 but the #18 would work fine aswell.

comp has some nice cams for your combo..though price is higher. Cost wise the TFS-1 cam is REALLY good for the money. The Alphabet cams are OK but 20yrs old in tech, and there are MUCH better cams available. Call comp tech line or even crane they will get you a good selection if you go that route. I enjoy my choice which is close to OZ's but he has the 114lsa and I run the X#270HR-12 with 112lsa (35-324-8 comp#).

for the tfs stage 1 would i be able to run stock springs?? and what is trick flows part number for that cam? thanks

First off contact Ed Curtis at FTI. He can help you get the best cam for your combo.

Second. Match your springs to your cam. With your GT-40 heads you have springs good enough to 550 lift.

If i were to do it again, I would get a custom cam. If you don't want to go that route, I personally like Lunati cams, but I'm biased. I like mine, sounds good, nice powerband. Had some friends with e-cams, and heard good things about them to.

I am in the process of putting in a TFS stage 1, i would tell you how i like but its not running yet. I matched it with TFS heads so that is why i purchased it.

FTI custom cam, if you don't go that route, a AFM-412 (I think thats the number of the cam.)
