I just wanted everyone's opinion on this cam for speed density; I've finally narrowed it down to two; a Isky 257 or this one.

Stock 86-88 speed density setup? If so I don't think the computer is going to like the 112* LSA. The XE264HR-14 would be better as it's on a 114* LSA. The stock cam is something like 115* and you want to stay close to that.

Made it in before the custom cam crew again, but a custom cam is honestly not a bad idea for a SD setup.

I was told about the Isky cam and the custom grind cam was 220/220 so I figured the Isky would get away with the specs...I looked at the Comp HR264 but I was hesitant on the .512 with piston to valve clearance.

I plan on running GT40P heads with the stock internals.

Long as you upgrade the springs the 264 should be fine.
