I didn't degree mine and didn't have any problems but I have the mild Comp 262's using the Anderson tool. I have a friend who put 270's in his with no problems also. Just make sure you are very careful if you go this route.

That said I think the biggest thing is the wide tolerance of the stock set-up. If it is off, as much as 6 degrees some have reported, then you may wind up with a problem. Always better to do it right.

I agree...that tool can cause some serious problems if things don't go right.

You can get the same sound with a blower as well.
