Can I use an F303 cam with the stock valve springs on my 89' 5.0?

Disclaimer: I'm no cam expert however....

It's my understanding that you can use stock springs with any of the letter cams so long as you're normally aspirated.

i was under the impression that the stock springs were only good up to about .500" lift-like daggar said though, I'm no expert either...

i pretty sure, however, the stock rockers should not be used-they're barely good enough for the stock cam that's only .442" lift.

youre better off just getting new springs anyways. that way you know that they will handle the lift and last
