Hey all, question.. i have a 87 5.0, its pretty stock, cool air intake and some headers, but i bought some gt40p heads, gt40 intake a b303 cam and 70mm throttle body and mass air..can i get a rough estimate to the horse jump after its all put in? maybe some more info that i might need to install it all and not have problems? anything else i need? roller rockers? thanks!

There are some guys pulling close to 300rwhp with GT40 stuff. Have to get all the details right, though.

Its a pretty good setup. Make sure you get the heads done and upgrade the valve springs. The cam has a really lopey idle to it it sounds real old school. Your car will haul ass with this stuff.

cool, i dont know what SD is, so i couldnt tell you. Valve springs eh? know a rough price id be lookin at?

SD=Speed Density

SD is the factory air metering system for your engine. You said that you bought a "mass air". Do you mean you've converted the car to MAF?

I am going to say without a tune you will see about 250-260ish to the wheels.

There are some threads on corral with some guys getting 300 RWHP with GT40 heads/intake and the TFS cam, all ported stuff BTW.

If the car is still SD then you will need to convert to mass air if you plan to use a cam unless you buy a SD friendly one.

yeah im converitng it to mass air. 70mm mass air sencor and 70mm throttle body
