Cams in otherwise Stock Car

How would that compare to a set of VT stage 1 cams on an otherwise stock 2000GT? Will the cams get me that much without any intake and exhaust mods?

that link is not very helpful for two reasons.

1. They are using a set of blower cams

2. The engine only has 8.9:1 compression

I think that you would see better gains with a set of cams.

In case you didn't know, a lot of cams out there (such as the comp 270s) are very blower friendly, and thats what modular powerhouse is finding with these cams.

I saw it in a post over at the Depot and it made me happy that if I can pull the money together to get a blower, I won't need different cams to get good results.
