I believe MM&FF did an install of the Crane Xtreme Energy cams and gave them pretty good revies. they didnt compare them to any others, but they sound like they are a good choice as well as the others. i believe the peak gains were around 50HP. NOW BEFORE I GET FLAMED READ THIS--- the motor WAS NOT STOCK... it had Kooks longtubes, FAST engine management, forged internals running i think around 10:1 compression, and it was on an engine dyno. so you could figure on your car probably about 25-35HP, which is similar to the gains by VT's and Comp's stage II

I picked up about 30-40 hp with my Comp XE270's. HOWEVER like alot of people,I had to notch my aftermarket pistons to clear the valves afterwards.

I read the same article as well. 50 peak and I believe 37 net. I plan on getting those cams for mine in Feb. If you want to read the article I believe it is on their website.

Think that's bad? Not only would I need to have them installed, I'd need a place to pass very strict emissions testing. When the hell is the air going to finally clear up so we can mod our cars again?

I never had either before I installed my XE270AH's in my '03. It was a great learning experience, saved me big $$$, and was very rewarding when I broke into the 12's.
