Im looking at putting in cams in my car. I have a 2002 gt with shorty headers, magnoflow catted x-pipe, magnapack catback, cold air, steeda pullies, intake spacer, bbk 75mm throttle body, c and L Plenum, 3:73, and an autologic chip. What would be a good lift on a cam for me and what type of horsepower gains am I lookking at getting with that.

Well you can call comp or vt and get custom grinds if you want. that cost extra. I would recoment the the vt "wild or stage II" cams. Comp has had base cirlce issues and with my luck I would get a set that had that problem. If you ordered customs you probalby would be okay most of the times it is off the shelf stuff that has the problems.

I personally think shm 2760's, coms 270's, or the vt "wild" cams will do you good for off the shelf grinds. the vt's have more lift less duration and a tighter lobe center. they say it build more cylider pressure. some guy got like 29hp on a stock car. seems to good to be true but they have the dyno sheet. that is the best I have ever seen from just cams. You might just call up T&J and let them recomend something for you. they tend to build lots of sick cars there.
