How can you tell if a cam is worn?? I bought a 92 engine from someone and he told me that he has a brand new e303 cam that only hAS 3000 miles on it that he put in the engine. But when i dissembled the engine yester day the cam looks very worn. The edges of the llobes are a brownish color and you can see where the lifters worn paths. Can I have it polished or is the cam crap??
