One of the V-braces is bent and rubbing on the swaybar. Can I take them off without any handling or suspension issues? They do not appear to do much.

The v-braces are braces that go under the front of the car. The one in back bolts into the reinforcement plates at the front end of the rocker sills and the k member. The one in front bolts into the front radiator support and the K-frame. Cobra R's and convertibles came with them.

Heck yes, they are so flimsy I don't think they do anything anyway. Mine were all pretzled up too, so I pulled em off.

I appreciate your help. I pulled them off and you are right. They are very flimsy.
