Can I get this hood to fit 06 on an 02

Hi so i have been looking around for a new hood for My gt and i cam across an 06 hood no scoop for dirt cheap now iv always liked the look of this hood now i know its not going to fit now but do you think its possible for me to have it modified by a bodyshop to fit if not dose anyone know were i can buy a hood to fite an 02 gt that looks like an 06 none scoop hood

Why not just find a 2002+ V6 hood at a junkyard and have the fake hood slit smoothed over? I would think that would be way less of a hassle in terms of getting it to fit correctly and not have the tacky fake hood scoop.

I would be willing to bet you are going to be into this project deeper in your pockets than you will want. I would even think you could get any Cervini's you want and paint it for about the same thing as you paid for that one and all the work needed.

That like asking whether or not a hood off a 1989 Toyota Camry would fit your 02. The lines are so completely different.

If you are going to go through the trouble of customizing a hood anyways, you might as well start with 03/04 Cobra or just shave the scoop of a factory hood

yea i figured for the 40 bucks it was worth a shot if they were similar. the bone yards around here want big bucks for hoods if they have them..... and i cant find an 01 cobra hood any were .... any one got one

Look for an 03-04 V6 hood. They're the same.
