Can I grind or cut these off?

OK so it was a real pain to get my T45 out. There were these little ears that kept hitting the firewall and I had to twist, raise, then lower the tranny and try to lift and lower jack under motor. Took me a couple hours after everything was unbolted to slide it out. Can I just grind or cut these little ears off? I dont think theres anything that needs to be attached to them.

yes you can. They are just what the wire looms clip into (from the o2 sensors). Just make sure that the wires arent going to get damaged after the tranny is back in.

Grind them off. With extreme prejudice.
