can i mill 4.6 heads?

ok so this overheating 4.6 .... found out that the heads are warped about 10 thousands of an insh in th emiddle... what do i do!! can i get them milled? is tere enough room? with i run into pistoin to valve clearance isues?

i wouldnt suggest it. i have u could mill them slightly. i am not sure what the specs are but they say it will ruin the cam timing seeing as how it is an overhead cam motor. that and the piston to valve clearances get really risky too

you can mill them up to .020 of an inch. or, from what i've heard, you can get a thicker gasket. .010 isn't that bad. it's the same as 3 pieces of paper stacked together tightly..

ok thnaks alot guys ... ware do i et these gaskets?would that fix it? or atleast so ic an get rid of it i was jstua bout to put a for sale sighn in it before it broke...so u think you can mill them 20 thousands?. im not really sure what to do .. i neeed to be sure..ha there is noooo way i want to tear the heads and everything off again that wasa job to say te least! hmm you say it ruins cam timin...? what exactly w il that do .. lieki said imgetting rid of the car anyways . it would still run ok right?
