My mockup...

I've been laying out the plans over the past few months.

Nothing rediculous, but this is what I'd like to build (details):

Seem reasonable I could do this for $10-$12K, including some pro help with tuning/installs?

Let me know if you see any technical snags in the configuration.

Thanks.

i dont see why you couldnt do that for 12k...getting the HP is easy, go with a vortec kit from CobraKiller. The rims and tire combo will be moderatly expensive. However, you still would have allot of money left to drop the car how you want it, get the side exaust, side skirts, rear bumper, and paint to match. Tint is not expesive, nor is the chin spoiler. shaving the emblems requires that you simply remove them and fill any holes that you have prior to painting. You definitly can get that car how you want it IMO for 12K.

I'm partial to the KB 6 lb.

I know Centri's make mad power, but I want my punch available in a more street-friendly range (full boost from 2K RPM).

Street prowler.

KB costs more, I know... but if I can keep well away from redline while making good power, the engine should last longer before a rebuild. High RPM harmonics & stress are the death of the 2V with its powder rods.

I thought about the KB intercooled, but I'd want forged guts before going to that level.

Well seeing that you already have the rims outta the way you should have one SWEET 12 sec stang for easily 10K if not less
