Do you have the rear O2 sensors turned off in the tune?

I just bought 4 brand new walker 02 sensor, install all 4 brand new 02 sensor, in a week or 2 I will get it weld on flow 40 and mac H pipe, so 2 rear sensor had to go, I still have 2 front 02 sensor lying around, I heard 2 in the back is useless, so just wonder if i can use 2 old one from the front and move to the back and take out 2 good one for the future use .

I didn't think the rear O2 sensors used the same connection as the front ones? In which case, I would think it to be physically not possible?

Why don't you just put the old ones in for appearance in case you get stoped for anything and they randomly check your exhaust and then run som MILs for the rear O2 sensors ?

My state is free of smog test, you can get your car inspection for 5 buck, they just test your light work and no tint ( some place can get away with tint ), that all, gotta love to live where they dont strickly on emission.

front 02 and rear 02 use the same connect. rear 02 just longer then front 02, that why when I order part they all show up as the same part number. If you bought from the dealer they will come up 2 different part # , just because the length of the cable, aftermarket 02 they make all long cable.

not true dude, it has NOTHING to-do wth cable length...the fronts and the rears work differently and the plug connections are different, just for that reason so that someone doesn't use O2's in-place of monitors....send those aftermarket ones back and buy OEM Ford ones

The real deal is always better.

However, from Advanced I used the same 02 sensor/monitor for both the front and the back and no problems 1,000's of miles later.

Yes its had to do with cable length. you are right about the connection is different, the front 02 can plug in to the back, because its had 2 little peice on the side block it from connect it to the rear, i just cut that 2 peice off and plug it right in, that why aftermarket dont thave that 2 small blastic peice. the car ran with no problem.
