Can I put a 79-85 pickup in a 86-93 gas tank

Im doing a efi to carb conversion. Can i put a carb fuel pickup in my 87 gas tank.
or if anyone has instrustion on how to make there own fuel pickup i would like to see it.

Why convert to carb? You won't pass smog, and in some states you cannot get a clear title or license plates. In Michigan, the cold weather will make driving a carb car a problem.

i drive a damn 79 F250 with a 351m. i got a holley 600 with a electric choke on it and it starts up at 10 degrees in the morning to go to school. im not driving my car in the winter ether. every time i post somthing someones got to tell me dont do it. well i already did it. all i need to do is fix my gas tank problem and it will run.
