This is from my little brothers 88 GT he just bought. I made a thread about it a couple weeks ago. He got it for 1200, has a real nice interior, straight body, (some rust, needs new rear bumper) other than that its pretty nice. We pulled the motor on monday, checked her out, all the bearings look good. So instead of doing the explorer motor swap, we ordered some P heads from Tristate (1.94/1.54, 5 angle w/stainless under cuts) and a Cobra intake from our very own poneypower89

I had an oil pump driveshaft do the same thing. Thats how I ended up with what I have now. It would have been waaaay cheaper if I would have known I could have re-used it .

Anyway goodluck with the build.

That pic brings back memories. i had a 84 f-150 with a forged 310ci, sold it to my budy and the shaft twisted just like that. but instead of shutting it off he drove it till the engine seized.

I have a few like that. They look great on my wrought iron rail for the front porch.

I'm going to have to say no, it would probably be best that you not use it again.
