Can I use a 2001 cobra engine wiring harness in my 99 cobra?

Hello, stangers,
I purchased a used 1999 cobra engine from a wrecking yard a few days ago as a replacement for my project. Unfortunately, they severed several main connectors off and smashed the harness in a few places. It is dirty, broken and hammered. Would a harness off of a 2001 cobra be compatible?

it should be essentially the same - I dont think anything changed between 99 and 01

The only reason I am asking, is because the guy at ford said each year had a different part number (both discontinued). I am willing to bet they are close enough! Thanks
