Can I use a Stock Clutch Cable?

My Maximun Motorsports Aluminum Adj. Clutch cable snapped on my yesterday and i was wondering if i can use a stock cable with my aluminum qaudrant, and firewall adjuster and King cobra clutch? I dont/cant wait a week to get an adjustable one sent here as the car is a DD.

a stock cable should work. I don't think it is recommended to use a adjustable cable and a firewall adjuster. it makes it pretty hard to st up the clutch. One or the other.

Yep, I use a stock clutch with a firewall adjuster/aluminum quadrant (steeda)...works great!

I got mine for cheap from www.buyfordracing.com

You won't have any problems...

So i can go ahead and go to the dealership and get a stock OEM 87-93 Gt Clutch cable and have no problems?
