Can my SCT 2 with 3 Brenspeed tunes be transferred to another car?

I am having my car dyno tuned and will no longer be using the SCT tuner or my Brenspeed tunes. Can I just unload the Brenspeed tune from my car and then sell the tuner? I bought it with the C&L racer intake which I am keeping, is the tune specific to that intake? If anyone has bought a used one please tell me what you paid so I have an idea of what it should sell for.

As you guessed, you'll need to use the tuner to return your car to stock tune; this will "unlock" your SCT2 so that you can sell it. The tunes will not be usable to the new buyer but they can purchase downloaded tunes from Brenspeed, Bamachips, etc. There is a market for the tuner if it's unlocked; you'll see several of them on eBay at any given time selling for $125-150.

the only way you can transfer the tunes to another car is if the computer code is the same.

exactly. Put it back to stock then it will unlock otherwise its about $100 to unlock it.
