Are you sure thats correct? Its been years since my MECP training but i dont recall ever using 100 Ohm resistor. Seems like a 100 Ohm would overwealm the deck that is designed for 4 ohm speakers. What is really needed is a Bass blocker, or better yet a crossover. If you have Premium sound in your car it should already be wired for the dash (tweeter) and door (woofer) configuration.Pro-Hawk said:. If you don't want any bass out of the dash speakers attach a 100 ohm resistor to the poles.

P.S. As for the wire colors, Just get a Ford speaker harness from best buy. Its well worth it and insures you system stays in Phase.

How is that? My deck has XM built in, (just needs a decoder box) But i am not sure if i would like it or not. I have flipped through the Sirrius Stations on a guys radio before and didnt find anything that really stood out more than local FM Sure XM doesnt have commercials, but im still not sure im sold. Plus i have to pay a montly fee for EACH car which i think is BS. Is it really worth the cash?Pro-Hawk said:I said to hell with it and bought all new speakers and a XFM radio/tunnerI want ever go back to normal radio again
