Hey Nice vert's. I know i'm a little late but here's mine. Mods KB 2200 Blower, AJE K-Member, 2300k cobra brake kit, Cervini's body kit and hood, Pedestal spoiler, 19 in symbolics wheels, custom 3in roll bar, Corbeau TRS seats, Mac Long tubes and Magnaflow catback exhaust, C&L 80mm MAF, 75mm TB, QA1 coilovers in front and BBK springs in rear with Steeda aluminum lower control arms and the list goes on and on. I plan on a repaint begining of next year and also a complete stereo and interior redo.

I saw that someone had a vert with 94 up seats. I know the front seats just bolt in. Can the same be done to the rear seats or is there custom work to make it fit?

Also i'm in a process of a wheel change my old set up is the chrome 17 in wheels and my new set up will be the 19's after i send off 2 of them to be repaired and all 4 of them either chromed or powdercoated. Let me know what you think.

I still cant figure out how to post those giant pics like everyone else so here are some links. I just started a thread for convertibles of all years in the sound forum so please check that out stangers with verts.

Somehow I doubt he ever has anyone "back there", looking at that roll bar.

Thanks for the compliment and also thanks for posting the pics for me. The wheels are 19 x 8 symbolic XR-15. They have a 6 inch backspace and the tires are 235/35ZR19 and no they dont rub at all. I do plan on going with 245/35ZR19 on my next tire change and they will fit with no problems. If the wheels were 19 x 9 with a 6 in backspacing then they might rub, but everything depends on backspacing and with this set up i still have more than a 1/2 inch clearance before they start to rub on the quad shock. The rear fender was already rolled from when i had the 17 x 8.5 chrome Elite Avalons on the car. Tork Imagines are a cheaper version of this wheel if you were thinking of getting some. Post some pics of your convertible stang. That red paint and wheel is a tease show us the whole deal.

WYTHORS

I do ride people back there all the time with no problems and for your information the roll bar is curved with the interior so i still have full use of my back seat. Now if i tried to fit 2 adults over 200 lbs back there then i might have fitment problems, but still no rubbing problems.

BIGHAIRYMONKEY

I really don't like the stock gt or lx look taillight look. I wanted something different and more modern. I am going to change the tails, but not because i don't like the look. It's because the passenger tail builds condensation and i can't have that. I don't try to please everyone when i customize my ride, just myself and i know you thought you were slick putting in a pic of your LX hatch and this is supposed to be a convertible only thread.

OFCR MOE

All i have to say is nice clean ride. Those chrome wheels really set that color off. Is that the factory paint or a repaint? Is it wet sanded?

Here is some pics showing clearance.

If any of you verts have a aftermarket system in your vert please visit the sound thread (Convertibles only car audio).

I weighed mine the other day. It was 3300 with a half tank of gas. The car is bone stock as far as I can tell. Still has the AC, smog pump, charcoal cannister, etc.

Best time was 10.90 @128 full weight with a S-trim (w/ 8 rib belt) and E303 cam. The car is now lighter, has a YSi-trim (w/ cog setup), .600+ lift blower cam and Aderson PMS. I have not run the car yet nor made full dyno pulls but a quick blip on the dyno made 550 rwhp (mustang dyno) at 5,200 with 6lbs of boost and a 10.5:1 A/F. Here is a short idle clip http://media.putfile.com/Stang-idle

what roll bar is that? and how tall are you? do you have much clearance around your head?

I wouldnt mind putting in a roll bar in mine, since the stiffest support is the windshield. But I am 6'6" and do not want to brain myself in an accident.

also, does it allow for rear seat use?
