Can you break down the steering shaft?? help

im trying to install some headers and there supposed to be a 2 piece design but there a solid one so I have to find a way to break down the steering shaft so I can get it inbetween the primary tubes of the headers! IS there anyway to do this? The steering shaft already telescopes i dont see why it wouldnt just come apart as well. someone please help

Go under the steering wheel inside the car and you'll see theres one 10 or 12mm bolt holding a little knuckle on the steering shaft. Undo that and pull the steering shaft out of your way. Had to do it on my car too.
