Can you put '86 Sail panels on the newer 87-93 stangs?

Hey guys, Just wondering if you can install the older '86(For instance) sail panels and glass on the newer '87-93 stangs? I know the mouldings won't match but thats not a concern. Would the holes line up? Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

think about this... if the 87-93 quarter can go on a 86 then an 86 can go on a 87-93

thats an oxy moron type of question.

Yes, but i thought you had to drill different holes to mount the 87-93 quarters in the '86 stangs. So that would mean you would have to drill holes to do is flip flop. Do you have to drill holes?

I don't think it is a direct fit but alot of guys have done the pre 87 and put the 87+ in them
