Can you put a 1989-93 EEC-IV computer in a 94-95 GT

We have discussed this many times in this forum. Its not 1994 any more. We have cracked the code on these computers and we know what their problems are and what their strengths are, and the truth now is that they are in many ways better than the older fox computers. Get a tuner or a chip burnt and be one with it.

really , ur the 1st person ive heard say that

with what i know of the SN puters (not a whole ton yet) and what i know of the fox puters (a good bit about the A9 series), i agree with White Devil.

the SN processor itself is superior to the fox puter (faster processor speeds, more funcitions, real diagnostics, etc). it just has some lame programming in it.
i would rather spend the money on a handheld (or a chip if that works for you) and retain the stock puter, myself.

and FWIW, i think the guys that were gonna 'start' Pro M back up are up and running - at least web site wise. I think Daggar has a link to their new site.

good luck.

I'd have to say I just might be the second guy to say stuff like that.

If you search on this site and the Corral you will find many threads where peeps talk about the older pcm retrofit in our cars and there are some folks like John, myself and others who have said you can do anything to our pcm's that has been done to the older Fox pmc's so just work with the one you got.

Later
