I just installed a Wilwood big brake kit at all 4. It renders the ABS non-funtional. I have removed the wheel sensors, tone rings, the proportioning valve ( used Wilwood adjustable instead ), and the ABS unit at the front passenger frame rail. I have replumbed the lines and have great brakes now! I would like to cut the ABS diagnostic connection on the side of the engine bay fuse box and the two wiring connects that run down the back passenger side of the radiator fan to the ABS unit so that I can clean up and simplify the looks of the wiring and remove anything that I am not using. I have had them unplugged without tripping the ABS warning lamp on the cluster, and I haven't noticed anything else being affected negatively because of this. Is it a stand-alone wiring harness bundled in the main harness, and can I simply cut and cover the wires without affecting any other system negatively and not creating any other problem for which I would have to resplice them in again later and let hang around in the way later?
