Can you replace the MC push rod w/o removing the MC?

Is there a way to replace the Master Cylinder push rod without removing the Master Cylinder?
I just put in a new MC, but there is some play in the brake pedal. I want to install an adjustable push rod, but don't want to remove the MC again if I don't have too.

yes you can. just upclip the pushrod from the pedal and yank on it.

it might not come out easy if you kept the metal clip on it, othewise it still slide out really easy

Thanks, I actually did it this afternoon; it was a pretty easy project. The hardest part was getting the Stop Light Switch postioned and installed along with the push rod.
