Without having to recalibrate the computer? I have 18" fanblades with some bad tires, I found a really good deal on some 17" bullits which i personally like better than the 18"s. Can I swap them out without having to re-calibrate the computer?

I am pretty sure the tires are real close to exactly the same diameter. So you should be able to swap without a problem. You could go to Tire Rack dot com or one like it and check the diameter of both tire sizes to be sure.

But I doubt they change anything. And I like the Bullets better too. I wish mine had the Charcoal color inside like the ones on my Fox Body that has 04 Bullit wheels. The offset on those in different, otherwise I would switch.

what year car are the fan blades on and what year car were the bullitts on? if your car is equipped with tpms, and the bullitts do not have the sensors in them, you will need to install them or you will have a light come up on your dash. you can just hit reset and clear it but it can be a pain in the ass depending on how often you drive, how long of drives you take etc. i used to do alot of small often trips, so getting in, turning it on, pressing reset, was a pain.

but it got to the point where it was just like turning tcs off when i start the car.

if the bullitts do have tpms in them, you just need to recalibrate them as far as i'm aware. the tool to recalibrate them isn't too expensive if i recall, they do have expensive ones, but theres one that works for real cheap.

They Fan blades are off an 06, not sure of the bullits, they look like the newer, lighter, 07 + kind. I like my fan blades, but for the cost of new tires, balance, install etc. It's cheaper to buy 4 like new bullit rims with tires. The alignment was off on my car so the front tires have tread showing on the inside, while the back tires are fine.......

Those Diablo tuners can re-calibrate tire size correct? or is there a cheaper solution out there? Bring it to Ford?.......

I had Fan Blades on my 08, I sold them and bought some chrome Bullits. I took all the sensors and put them inside my spare tire, I could tell when my spare was getting low on air. That low tire monitor is stupid, If you can't look at your tires when you put tire cleaner on them, sheeeeze, why are you driving a Mustang?
That noise coming out the back doesn't mean you need a new muffler either.
Some 17s wont fit on some Mustangs with 17s on already.
I had a 04 Mach 1 and bought some Boyd’s from Discount tire. The car came with 17s so I ordered 17s from Boyd. They didn't fit the front. The owner of the store called Boyd and the conversation went something like Blaa, Blaa, Blaa, They don't fit, Blaa, Blaa , Blaa, Your full of S---. Click. Refund my money and got some chrome bullits.
Tires/wheels are a personal thing, what you like is what you should get.

IIRC, if your stang is an 06, it doesn't have tpms. If it doesn't you won't have any problem. Most stock rims and tires, no matter the size, have close to the same circumfrence. Speedo might be a tiny bit off but thats no big deal.

Yes, the tpms is a PITA, but it is great if you have run flat tires. I must have ran over something one day but the car still drove fine for a few miles. Then the light came on and I stopped and noticed the right rear looked low. It was completely flat by then. Got the tire fixed and it is fine. Without the tpms, I may have continued driving and ruined the tire. So I guess it does have its good points.

Glade that those things worked for you. Personally I can feel a tire getting low and also pull over a look at the tire. If your car starts to sway or pull in a direction and you keep driving, you should have to buy a new tire, and a wheel. And then you should be made to sell that mustang and buy a Camaro.

You must have bought the wrong offset, maybe you should be driving the Camaro...

No on both your statements. I was at a Discount Tire, He ordered them from Boyd on the phone while I was standing in front of him, Year, make, model.
The problem was the front brake caliper, the Boyd's hit the caliper. Rears were just fine. I wouldn't drive a Camaro if it was given to me. Then Like I said, I got some Chrome Bullits from the same place and they fit fine, front and rear.
Maybe you should read the complete post. The post of mine that you cut and paste wasn't even to you. It was just general info and at the end I said """"Tires/wheels are a personal thing, what you like is what you should get."""

its now a govt mandated feature for all cars after a certain date to be required to have this tpms system in it. alot of people don't know jack about cars unfortuantely and can't see a tire and think hm. that looks kind of low.

Since it appears that TPMS is not an issue for you then you should be fine as long as the bullitt wheel and tire combo has the same total wheel and tire diameter as the fanblade wheel and tire combo. What size tires are on the Bullitts and what size are on the fanblades?

Have you ever driven on run-flat tires?
I didn't think so....:Zip2:

There always has to be at least one smart-a**.

I Had them on My 08 , My wife has them one her 09, my daughter has them on her 03, I don't know what’s on my 09,
There was nothing Smart A-- about what I said. I can feel a tire getting low, I guess you can't. And if you can't then drive on a flat tire and buy a new tire and rim, means little to me. Next time you call me a name I will have to call you several back. And when your engine starts to knock, Just drive faster cause the Check engine light may not be on, and so if a sensor is not on, it's ok.
