Hey Ron, these kids don't respect the vehicles anymore like us old timers. It's all about the sound system, and the motors, and the bling bling. At some point in time, when they go to sell that stripeless Mach 1, they'll find out then that they probably should have left it alone, or at least had them put back on.

Black 1970 Mach 1's came with black stripes too, but the owners didn't usually pull them off!

Kids, whaddya gonna do?

Use a hair dryer and they will come off very easy, just don't stay in one place too long and evenly heat it.

Exactly. On my 2001, i had, for 2 years, a replica of the one they had on the 35th GT. It was 3M. Decided to take it away 2 weeks ago and had no problems. You should have No problem at all to remove yours.

I had my hood paint, so now i cant take it off

I agree. People bitch about stickers all the time. Hey bob, what is that sticker worth, 50 hp Some guys actually wants to get rid of the stickers and you guys think he is an idiot I personally think the stickers look like $hit. If I had a Mach 1 I would remove them also.

As for the stupid "bling bling" statement The guy bought the car to go fast, not try to look "bling bling." If any thing the stickers make it look "bling bling"

But you will alter the originality of your Mach1 if you take the stickers off. That's what I am trying to tell you. Do whatever you want, but your car will not retain it's value in the future if you take off the Mach 1 stickers. You want to keep the exterior appearance as original as possible so your Mach1 can hold it's value when it gets old.

Mustangs do not keep value as it is.. The Mach will not be a collectors car anytime soon... As for the stripes, I don't like them myself. The side ones that is.. They can go. Cannot even see them on my DSG paint..

Here is the best advice yet ... Go buy that white Mach1 and then trade me cars. That way you won't have to worry about removing the decals and we'll both be happy, ok?

they're just decals, and its his car, he can do whatever he wants with it. It would make his a bit unique too.

I was drooling over a red one at the Ford dealer today... I personally like the stripes, I'm thinking about putting a black insert in front of the hood scoop.

Last time I checked Junior, this was called a "message board" where people post comments and messages. I might not agree with yours, and you might not agree with mine, but we both get to say what's on our minds, so get over it.
