Can you tell your rearend gear by the RPM's

I got this 00 gt that already has the FIPK system and possibly other changes to it. The dealer did not know if it did or not. Is there anyway to tell if the gears have been changed by what rpm your at, at what speed or to see if it has been adjusted by the computer? Help I am new at this How can I tell if it has a chip installed?

well give us some numbers. what rpm's are you at when you are cruising at 70? at 80? is your 1st gear long or short?

you can easily check your chip. It is behind the kickpanel on the passenger side. It is the panel just in front of the door. You can access the box there and see if you have a chip installed.

I cruise at 70 at 2000 rpm so I am stock, and the calculator from the listed site was right on my other speeds thanks
