can't find pcv filter on 87 stang ...?

I went to the parts store today and picked up a pcv filter for
my 87 mustang 5.0. but i cant find the damn thing on my car to replace it ..???? I heard it was on the back of the intake or something.
If anyone knows were it is let me know or if you have pics even better.

Sorry, no pics.. but it's in the middle of the back of the lower intake. There is a black hose going from under the driver side of the upper intake into the pcv hole on the lower, so you can follow that back.
Good luck.

Get a flashlight - it's really hard to see - but easy to feel. Follow the back of the upper intake down til it meets the lower intake. Right in the middle of the lower intake, towards the firewall - keep going back almost to the back end of the lower, you'll find a rubber grommet - the pcv sticks into it and as stated above it has a vacuum hose running from it back up under the upper where it connects to a manifold vacuum port. Ideally, you should replace the grommet, the pcv, the hose and the metal screen/oil trap that's under the grommet. Less than $20 from you friendly local Ford dealer.
