I got the canton coolant tank for Xmas and I was wondering what everyone was doing with the extra barb at the cap, my 04has one barb at the tank that goes back to the radiator and the new one has one at the tank and one at the cap, (below it on the neck) I have to get a different cap as well, I'm assuming if I get a cap without pressure release I can plug or remove the barb at the neck....any input appreciated

Just go to an auto parts store and get about an 8 inch piece of clear tubing. Connect it to that overflow stem and just position the tubing so that if any liquid comes out of the tube, it does'nt drip on anything.

I have heard about this coolant tank before but have not looked into it. How does it benefit? Does it run cooler?

It's just a direct replacement for the factory overflow tank. But it looks a hell of alot better than that plastic factory crap overflow tank. It dresses up the engine bay nicely. Combine the Canton with the UPR Radiator cover and you'll need eye protection.

If I did this I would go with the factory ford black color tubing, I would rather eliminate it than add something that doesn't need to be there.
