Well, I know this may sound dumb ... but it's worth it to me to ask. I just bought a cap & rotor (Borg Warner). I'm trying to do everything in my power to keep the pinging down, plus new parts = more security.

Anyway ... these have a lifetime warranty .... but they do NOT have the copper/brass terminals. Should I take them back & get ones that have brass terminals, or will I be PERFECTLY fine without them? I know some people in the past have said not to get platinum terminals or whatever.

No, those are most likely aluminum, and Yes, I would get the Brass....
I don't have any test data, just have seen both over a long period of time, and the brass seem to not get all messed up.

i got a MSD cap and rotor for around $20.. im pretty sure you can get em from summit too

Yeah, Summit has a really good price on the MSD pasckage ..... I just want to know if it will be worth the hassle for me to take these back, then order them from Summit ....

Justin, you should be able to get brass from the local parts store. I got mine at either CSK or AZ.

I guess I will venture out on the other side and say that I *surmise* (I have not seen conclusive data, nor dyno data etc) that there is very little difference. I was reading the other day about the percentage of spark energy lost from the coil to a given cylinder - it was much greater than one might guess. I dont see the alum vs brass conductivity coefficients being that crucial in the bigger scheme of things.

Like I said, that is just MHO. I get brass when I can but dont sweat running alum. Alum can show pitting but that is about it.

My ambiguous two cents. :)
