My car will start right up sometimes and other times it will not. When it will not it will click once and power there will be no power...can't lock doors or open windows. and if i wait a little while and try it again it might or might not start. i went to autozone and they said that the battery and alternator is good. Anyone have any ideas?

I had al little issue the other day, where my ccrm wouldn't cut off. wiggled the negative trminal on the battery, cut off. You case sounds like a bad ground somewhere, might be the neg. batt. terminal. No power at all negates this, but a while ago my would start intermittently, found the nut the holds the ground to the starter totally gone.
good luck

Yep- a bad ground connection can do this.

Clean the battery terminals? Are you sure the battery is good?

remove, clean and reinstall all ground connections. There are 3 at the battery, 1 on the right side of the timing cover and one at the front of the oil pan bolts.

Are you sure its a ground? could it be the starter. i try to start the car i get one click then all power in the car is gone for about 10 seconds then it comes back on. battery voltage is still at 12.85. then when power comes back on i try to start it i get one click, loose all power then comes back in like 10-15 seconds or so.

Mine currently does the same thing, but in my case it's a ground issue. Somewhere in my ground wire, there's resistance, and it's worse after the engine is warm, since heat amplifies the problem. I replaced the terminals on the cable, and it helped for a little while, but does it again, so when my engine comes out, I'm replacing the cable entirely. I'm voting for a bad connection somewhere.
