car doesnt wanna start after i turn it off

Car will barely crank over and then it will idle weird and die. any thoughts?

need more details, sounds like it could be timing more than the charging/starting system. Could be fuel, could be anything located from the headlights to the back bumper.

yep. also let us know if the battery and charging system have been checked (or what they are putting out). ditto for battery cables, grounds, etc.

just starts slowly as if the battery is low but the battery is fine, fuel pressure is fine, it just cranks really slow and then one fired it will idle really lopey and then die. Restart the car and the same thing happens until you rev the car and then its fine. Its the weirdest problem i've had on this car and i'm running outta ideas real quick.

what kind of voltage readings are you getting at the battery and alternator?

your alternator is self-exciting, right?

Jason will have some ideas for you - im afraid i dont. if the car runs well once you goose it, i would think the components are fine. it should be an initial start up and idle thing (as if the alternator was not self exciting and/or you have a bad battery or cable). weird. good luck.
