Im posting this for a friend that drives a 94 auto vert gt. Only mods are off road h pipes, flowmaster catback, and K&N cai. The car idles fine but when pun into gear (both reverse and drive) with the break held the rpm's shoot way down and alot of the time it dies. It often corrects itself and the rpm's jump back up but it seems that it just keeps getting worse. The car will die while sitting at lights and especially when it first starts up. He took it into the ricart ford dealer here in columbus because he had a warranty and although they managed to scam him out of 100$ they never touched a thing and couldnt tell whats was wrong. Anyways what could be causing this? Anyone else ever have this problem? Thanks and any help would be great.

Mine does this. I'm still trying to figure out why. It dosent do it too much sience i rigged the act but it does it once and a while.

Mine did that when I first got it. I purchased a new TPS, new ACT and new ECT. Also, do a tune up, i.e. plugs, cap rotor, etc.. Bad 02s can cause that after the car is heated...
