My car is gettin one to two notches away from the red mark on the stock gauge. I've been having these problems ever since i went to an electric fan from a taurus . And i changed my water pump from reverse flow to standard flow. The reason i changed water pump direction is because i removed the power steering a/c and smog pump. And now i have to run my belt on the top of the pulley instead of on the bottem. Someone told me that i also should have changed the timing cover to standard flow also because now the water is flowing thru the cover the wrong way. But i don't think that would make it run hot. Any help from someone that is also running a standard flow water pump would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
