The car runs good for a while during the first 5 mins or so but after runnin' the **** out of it racing and stuff, The throttle response just dies. I'll floor it from a rolling start with the clutch all the way out and it Just feels like it has no torq. Like it has a couple second delay before it knows i floored it.
I searched a bit and saw some threads on cars with the same problem and a few guys said it takes the computer a few seconds to relize its floored. but that was with speed density. My car has a relitivly new MAF, fuel filter, 255 intake pump, and i beleive the timing is set as high as it will go without detonation. (i did it with a light). My buddie told me to do my ignition and it would fix it. But i would like to go over other ideas first. Oh yeah..haha my plug wires say 1995 on them. They are STOCK. The plugs are 4point splitfires. Any ideas?

Here is a test. Start the car, run it until it's warm. Then shut it off for 30 seconds. Then start the car again and see what happens. If it's still acting up, your O2 sensors may not be functioning correctly. Have to tried running the codes?

I would suggest getting rid of the 4prong plugs, have heard way too many people having issues with them in the 94 and up cars.
You did not specify as to how many miles are on your car but depending on the mileage/wear it could be that your timing chain is wore out?
Good Luck

The car has 105000 on it. Damn...i hate changing the plugs with the lt headers. haha. I did the test and its not acting up. Plus the plugs are 6months old with professional wire extenders for the headers. I know the car makes power because it'll spin the crap out of the tires for a few minuets of cruising. But then it just looses all power off the line.
