this dont have anything to do really with mustangs.. but we got a 80 firebird esprit sitting in the back yard(doesnt run) i love that car for some reason though.. i have never been in it as i can remember(while it was working) its my dad first car.. but what i was wanting to ask would it be worth restoring it. we have eninge in the shed from a trans am. i think i wanna throw in there.. i dont really talk to my dad.. he at work 24/7 but does anyone know if this would be worth it.. i've seen camaros fixed up and they look and sound bad as hell.. and the firebird and camaro look the same(back in the day) but yeah.. should i consider workin on it. i hate driving this slow stang..there are so many 5.0's here in stockton Ca. i cant go cruisin with my friends or girl anywhere without pulling up next to one or one pulling next to me.. and hittin the gas a couple of times.. its just embarassing.. heh.

Those are pretty nice cars. I would restore it I'm a car buff anyways but if you got the motor thtrow it in and run it.
Might not go back tot the 2.3 though
some parts might be hard to find. But one nice thing is that Gm's parts pretty much interchange
Good luck..

Yes....imagine it.
Primered black, rat-rod style...what is that a 403 cube engine, big 750 Carter carb and hot HEI setup and a pair of Delta-flos.
Awwww yeah!
That really loud throaty metallic VROOOOM and a little bark from the tires.
I can see it man.
It's the hot ticket to respect at the stoplight.
IT'S PAYBACK TIME!

I'm really excited for you man.

Go for it. You look like you really want this car, you seem pretty enthusiastic about it. Just get out there and start pulling it apart and cleaning things up. You got a new project! I'm excited for you man, my vote is to get going on it.
