car is at the tuner have a few questions.

this weekend thanks to tomyb1976 from modular depot he put my vortech v2-sq supercharger on my car, with 42 lb injectors, svt focus pump, powerpipe, etc. Anyway its at the shop getting tuned and my tuner told me my fuel pump is maxing out at 6200 rpm, i thought svt focus pumps were good for around 400 rwhp and i thought id prolly be making 370rwhp. Also i wasnt sure what the rev limiter was gonna be set at, he said it would be around 6800 rpm cause the car pulls up to that, is that safe for a stock gt engine, anyway i should be getting the car back tommorow i hope its running good.

If I were you I would be getting my car tuned somewhere else If they said I could pull till 6800...

6800 seems pretty dangerous to me....I didn't even go over 6000 when I had my car on the dyno...do you have a heavily modified block?

no definetely not, its a stock gt engine, only additional mods with the vortech supercharger are the what's listed in my sig. What is a good limit to set my redline at, and should my focus pump be maxing out already, also its a stock 3.6 pulley

those guidelines of " this pump is good until X horsepower" is only a very crude basic guide.. Some cars will be fine at 400 HP with a focus pump other setups will not be at 350 HP...
