Alright finished lowering the car today... actually knocked out the entire rear in about an hour... makes me feel goooood... now... if anyone rembers that scrape/grinding noise i was talking about.... yea its worse now... if im at even half throttle or co over a bump while in gear my car makes a scrapeing/grinding noise... and its annoying as hell... i assume that since it got worse when i dropped the car that it must be driveshaft/rear diff related... anyone have this problem....

After looking at your shift boot, I think Ill try to make me one from a Crown Royal bag.

Did you inspect the DS? Since the issue is worse now, it sounds like it could be an issue of the DS rubbing on the E-brake or mufflers.

Good luck.

Yea thats what im thinking because if i shift hard the car rocks a bit and its like grind----bounce---- grindddddd--- bounce--- grind---- kinda grinds with the shift shock

That was my suspicion also JT.

maybe clean up the driveshaft and the underbody near it and then put some kind of marking on the DS and see if it is left on any parts near it

My thoughts exactly. I've been known to lay down a super thin layer or flat black paint around the DS in the worrysome spots. When the flat black is scored off, it's quite easy to see. :nice:
