My car is WAY too loud, I see people about jump out of their skin when i hit the gas Plus, the only drone point for my car is at idle. And it is so annoying! I want to be able to use my sound system I have.
" That things exhaust scared me ****less. No joke." comment from a local car site member about my car.
I mean, it is one of the best sounding mustangs I've heard around here. I get people just stop and stair at me. (your going to fast!!! blah blah )

I really need to find something more quiet. Any suggestions?

Steeda Sleper mufflers, expensive, but much quieter.

See http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog/sleepermuffler.htm

Try swapping your x pipe for one with cats. It seems that most people who make the swap the other way say dropping the the cats makes your exhause MUCH louder. So the reverse is probably just what you want. High flow cats don't cost much performance anyway.

And tailpipes should also help.
