Car just Randomly dies with new setup

By engine breaking I mean: downshifting or simply removing your foot from the gas while in gear. After doing this for a couple seconds and then pushing in the clutch the car wants to stall.

yes it does it when i am downshifting, it seems better i drove it to target to get christmas presents and it ran good didnt die at all. with that being said at some certain points it seemed like it didnt want to idle at the stoplight again. if i downshift and slowly coast to second gear around 1200 rpms it idles fine but if i just let it out and use just brakes is when it wants to die

@.50 218*/226*.512 lift 114 lsa and in neutral its around 750-800 its the factory tach with no surge, idles just fine. i took my cousin around the block, it runs great but after some runs to 5k in first, second and third gear went to stop at a stop sign and it died :nonono: i thought i had this taken care of.

I believe you said that you put all new sensors on the car, how about the vss sensor is that new, if it is not new you can test it with an ohm meter. Pull the plug off the vss, in where the plug goes on the vss there are two pins, take the ohm meter and put the red probe on one pin and the black probe on the other pin. The ohms should read between 190-250 ohms for a good sensor, if you get any other reading higher or lower, the sensor is bad.
