i went to the track last nite and my numbers are still not back to normal. i was running 12.6 and 12.7s at 106mph. my 60fts were normal this time out at 1.6s but my 8th mile was off. used to be 7.8 and now they are 8.0- 8.1. don't remember the mph of the 8th though. i was only pulling like 85 mph last nite and i know that is slower. my question is i changed to a no name x-pipe and put in a tremec and since i have not been running the same. can the x-pipe be my problem? or maybe my valvesprings are going south.

i am stumped because i haven't changed anything else at all. i did put on a new PMAS mass air meter but i thought that would help.

The tremec is a heavier tranny so that might hurt a little.

The gearing in the tremec is also longer, its made for higher horsepower engines with a lot of torque to take advantage of the longer gears, maybe in your case it hurt. But i dont see why it should, the tremec should do nothing but improve your 1/4... i cant think of anything else, sorry..
