Car not starting!

I changed my throttle body 3 days ago. I drove to work the next morning and my car was spitting coolant all over. i forgot to tighten one of the throttle body hoses. later in the day when i went to leave work my car barely started. i got home and forgot about it cuz it did start and since then my car will start and then i can turn it off and try to start it again and it wont start. it will start with a jump all the time though. my alarm wont work now but my radio and such works still with the key on. my horn and headlights work great so my dad doesnt think its my battery. no loose connections it doesnt look like it. i charge the battery for a while with a battery charger for the hell of it and it will start after a lil charging and then i can try to start it again 5 mins later and it wont start.

lemme know any ideas..

I would lean towards battery, you can only charge a bad battery for so long, eventually it just dies.

First I would get the car started and disconnect the battery to see if the car dies, that way you can rule out the alt. If the car stays running, then go ahead and replace the battery.

Even tho my horn works fine and my headlights and such great without the key in the on position?

and battery show 12 volts always.

I'd actually advise against disconnecting the battery on a running EFI vehicle. For the old timers with non-computerized cars, that was kinda alright (it's an old test for alternators). The battery acts as a damper and disconnecting a battery cable can create a huge voltage spike. Our electronics might not like that.

More precision is needed with voltage readings. 12.0 volts would be severely discharged. 12.6 volts would be alright. If it's not a loose battery terminal connection, I like Chris's idea about the battery.
