Car is supercharged and ran fine before the new injectors and MAF. I put in a 90mm lightning MAF and 42lb injectors, the car starts then idle fluctuates then dies, not only that I can not even gas the car too hard or it starts pinging! Do I need a tune or is something else wrong, also put in a new 70mm throttle body at the same time but I don't think that would cause any serious problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I thought we could only run the Lighting 90 MAF if we had a chip burnt as well??

There is a lot of internet misinformation out there that says 90mm LMAFs are 'calibrated' for 42# injectors. This is totally false. All injector sizing is done in the EEC.

You absolutely need a chip for that combo - that is your problem.

You have to get a chip or tweecer to use the L-maf. The maf tables in the ecc are different than the 94-95 maf tables.

LMAF need a tune...

Also you will definantly run out of meter at around 500hp... if your lucky and dont rev too high.

All the thing needs is 5volts, anything more and its pegged.

Goodluck.

PS: is this on a S/C'd/Boosted vehicle?
